CUSTOMER PERSONAL DATA PRIVACY STATEMENT

StrongWe Group Company Limited ( “StrongWe Group” or “the Company”) is committed to protecting the privacy of customers’ personal data and encourages you to read this privacy statement.  
  
StrongWe Group will only collect, use, retain, and grant access  to, your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. This means that StrongWe Group will only use your data for the purpose for which it was originally collected and for the purposes that you have agreed your data to be used.  Your continued use of this website means that you agree for StrongWe Group to share your personal data with service providers, independent contractors, customer service representatives, servicing partners, agents, employees, insurance companies, health and medical or healthcare providers, third parties or any others who may provide service(s) to you or who may purchase service(s) for you on your behalf.    For more information please see our full personal data privacy statement below.        

Commitment to Personal Data Protection     StrongWe Group is committed to safeguarding our customers’ personal data by adherence to the  the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.   

To Whom this Statement Applies     This statement applies to the services and products offered by StrongWe Group.   StrongWe Group also expects our service providers to have introduced data protection principles and technical and organizational measures that are substantially similar to the ones StrongWe Group has adopted in respect of similar personal data. This statement refers to personal data from our individual customers or the employees of our customers and their families or the individual customers of our customers, such as a beneficiary under an insurance policy or a beneficiary under credit card or other financial services and in this statement, we refer to this group of individuals as: “you”. This Privacy Policy describes how StrongWe Group collects, uses, shares and secures the personal information you provide. It also describes your choices regarding use, access and correction of your personal information.  

What Information is Collected and How is it Collected     

StrongWe Group collects personal data about you when you purchase, use or benefit from StrongWe Group’ services or products. We may also receive information about you from other sources when this data is given to StrongWe Group by third parties, such as marketing partners, service providers, suppliers, independent contractors, intermediaries, or any other individuals or companies permitted to share this data.

“Personal data”  includes information that will allow someone to identify or contact you, including, for example, your full name, address, telephone number (professional, home & mobile) or email address, gender, date of birth, nationality, family status (dependent), industry sector information related to professional activity, status (local, expatriate or traveler), locations and destinations.   Personal data does not include aggregated data or data that, by itself, does not permit the identification of individual persons, such as statistics on the number of end-users that are eligible in a client company to receive services or the number of people visiting the StrongWe Group website each month.

You provide certain personal data to StrongWe Group when, for example, you: (a) telephone or text messages to StrongWe Group contact phone numbers or whatsapp number  to request information or services; (b) place order for services and products from StrongWe Group websites; (c) submit forms through our web sites; (d) access services through a downloadable electronic application for mobile devices (“App”), if applicable; (e) attend our events or courses; or (f) make enquiries, requests or complaints.  

Subject to your agreement to the applicable terms and conditions, you may access services through website, customer service telephone line or whatsapp number, an App (if applicable), including but not limited to sports, health, environment protection, technology or lifestyle information and other services which may be added by StrongWe Group from time to time.  

To enable location-specific services, the website or App may also collect and divulge your location. The website or App may also periodically provide information concerning your usage of particular features.

When you choose to pay for StrongWe Group services or products by credit card, debit card or other payment devices directly from the StrongWe Group website, you will be required to provide StrongWe Group with the name of cardholder, the name of your credit or debit card issuer, credit or debit card number, expiration date and other security information. When you choose to pay for StrongWe Group services or products by other means, we may ask you for your payment details, credit or debit card details, contact details, bank account details or other related information to facilitate your payment.  

You also provide information to us when you choose to email data to us, or when you participate in marketing, promotion or sales events or initiatives.  StrongWe Group will only gather data that is relevant for the purposes for which it will be used and will not gather excessive or unnecessary data.  

StrongWe Group shall take reasonable steps to ensure that data is reliable, accurate, complete, and current, bearing in mind its intended use. You have a responsibility to keep the data you provide to us updated and we will take reasonable steps to facilitate this.

  
Acceptance and Links to other Websites     This StrongWe Group website may contain links to other websites, which are provided solely as a convenience to you and the accuracy of those information neither warrant nor endorsed by StrongWe Group of the contents of other web sites. The other web sites may have their own policies, which StrongWe Group does not control, and thus are not addressed or controlled by this statement or the StrongWe Group Data Protection Policy.

  
Cookies     StrongWe Group, its technology suppliers, partners, service providers, agents, third party contractors or associates may use cookies or similar technologies to analyze trends, administer the website, track users’ movements around the website, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. You can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level, but if you choose to disable cookies, it may limit your use of certain features or functions on our website or service.

A cookie is a piece of data stored on your hard drive containing information about you. StrongWe Group uses cookies in order to identify a user session, but usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on the StrongWe Group website. StrongWe Group also uses ‘analytical cookies’. These allow us to recognize and count the number of visitors logging into our web site and to see how visitors move around the site when they are using it. This helps us make sure sites are meeting users’ needs and to find out how we could improve. The analytical cookies do not capture any personally identifiable information. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. Though most cookies expire after a certain period of time, you can choose to delete a cookie file at any time. You can do so by resetting your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is sent. However, some StrongWe Group features or services may not function properly without cookies. Some of our service providers (e.g. StrongWe Group’ service providers monitoring our satisfaction survey) may use cookies on the StrongWe Group site.  StrongWe Group has no access to or control over these cookies.   This privacy statement covers the use of cookies by the StrongWe Group site only and does not cover the use of cookies by anyone else.

How the Personal Data will be used    

StrongWe Group will use your personal data to provide you with services and products that: (a) you purchase; (b) are part of services provided through another program or as part of other services that are provided to you.

StrongWe Group may collect or you may provide to StrongWe Group, data about your sports, training, healthcare, nutrition, diet, activity, event or travel plans to enable StrongWe Group to provide you with information on your requests, banking or credit card information to enable StrongWe Group to purchase or make a booking on your behalf.  We may also gather your personal data to assist us in managing services or products provided to you.  

The personal information collected from website or App (where applicable) enables StrongWe Group to provide better and more relevant services.  Location information collected is used to provide the assistance or telephone number for you to call as well as to provide alerts and other information relevant to your location.  The usage information is used to help StrongWe Group better understand how you make use of website or App, in order to make improvements to it.  Your personal data may be shared within the StrongWe Group or transferred to service providers that are performing services for StrongWe Group or acting as StrongWe Group’s agents. StrongWe Group will require that any such service providers agree to keep your personal data secure and confidential, use it only for the purposes for which the personal data is transferred and use it only in accordance with StrongWe Group’ directions.

With your consent and in compliance with relevant personal data protection and privacy laws, for similar purposes as those outlined above, your personal data may also be transferred to: insurance company; or service provider; or independent contractor; or private medical insurer; or credit card company or other financial institution; or the association or other institution or company or third party that purchased the StrongWe Group services or products on your behalf or under which you receive the benefit of such services or products.  Your personal data may be transferred to Government authorities, agencies and institutions as required or permitted by applicable laws and regulations.  

StrongWe Group shall not collect, use, disclose or transfer your personal data except as described in this Statement unless you give us your permission to collect, use, disclose or transfer it for other purposes.     

How to Correct Inaccuracies Personal Data     

You can review the personal data that StrongWe Group has collected from you by contacting us through email to  info@strongwe.com or  through the contact link on our website.      Upon request StrongWe Group will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your personal information.   In order to update, delete, amend any personal information that we create and that we are able to change,  please contact us through email  info@strongwe.com or through the contact link on our website.   Should you need our assistance to access or make changes to your personal information, please submit your request to us.  
 

In making your request to review, update, amend or block data, you will be required to provide StrongWe Group with details of the data requested and the reasons why the data needs correction.  StrongWe Group will ask for proof of your identity. StrongWe Group may ask you to assist in verifying the accuracy of the updates and the amendments to the personal data.  StrongWe Group may ask you to cover the reasonable cost of accessing and providing copies of your personal data if this is not provided through the StrongWe Group website.  

StrongWe Group will strive to address your request as soon as practicable and no later than thirty (30) calendar days from the date your request is received and understood.  

Confidentiality Obligations     StrongWe Group takes precautions to protect its users’ information.  StrongWe Group has implemented employment terms and conditions with employees that forbid its employees from using or disclosing personal data in an inappropriate or unlawful manner.   Employees are required to abide by confidentiality obligations in their contracts of employment with StrongWe Group.

Changes to this Statement     StrongWe Group reserves the right to change this policy at any time by notifying users through its website of the existence of a new privacy statement prior to the change becoming effective. This statement and the policies outlined herein are not intended to and do not create any contractual or other legal rights. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices.

  
Prevailing Language.   This statements are made in English. In the event of a dispute as to the terms herein the English version shall prevail.

Applicable law  
The Statements shall be governed and construed in in accordance with the laws of the HKSAR and each party hereby submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Hong Kong.
